This section features the most beautiful Aland FDCs issued. While the FDCs in the early years of Aland stamps were rather simple in design they started to get more sophisticated and colorful with the millenium. That, however, does not hold true throughout since then. Therefore this page includes those only which are subjectively regarded as the outstanding FDCs is design and colorfulness. Mostly the latter were color would be applied to the complete cover are outstanding. In addition in later year, there would also be sketchings at the rear of the cover.
